Studio Garcia is a multi disciplinary consultancy covering projects from creative direction within hospitality to interior design. With an emphasis on wellbeing, simplicity and functionality, Clare creates sustainable concepts and spaces where people feel comfortable and at home.

Clare’s retail menu development background and passion for carefully considered, customer centric and cost effective, timeless design, add real value to restaurants and private homes alike.

Studio Garcia is currently working on interior design projects within city lets and private houses in London and Spain.

Being Scottish-Spanish and living in England since my early teens, home for me is more than one country or culture. For much of my life I’ve lived and worked between the UK, Europe and South India. If my son learns all of his native tongues, he’ll speak Portuguese, English and Spanish. So far, he prefers to bark with our dog.

I sense this is a sentiment shared by many of us; our increasingly global outlook is evident in everything from the food we eat to our health choices and the way we dress ourselves and our houses.

Design is a dialogue; I like to approach a project with an open mind. Having said that, minimising excess and a belief that design must belong in it’s surroundings is at the heart of my work. Perhaps inevitably, I'm inspired by the people I work with and the multiple cultures I consider home.
